2 X Pentel Sharp Mechanical Pencil, 0. My favorite is the 0.3mm version, which I tend to use over all my other pencils nowadays (including other 0.3 pencils and a 0.2mm Orenz with rubber grip) due to how sharp and clean it writes. 1-48 of 964 results for '0.7 pentel mechanical pencil' Price and other details may vary based on product size and color. It is an auto-advancing, anti-breaking pencil with super cool aesthetic and great build quality. Advance, combined with pushing a bit firmer on punctuation and crossed T's and such, works really well. Pentels Orenz Nero is a technical marvel and one of the coolest mechanical pencils sold today. In my case, I had bad results with the standard 40-step engine model and moved up to Advance engine (which can still be had for cheap). Kuru Toga works very well, but you do need to adapt to it to take advantage of the feature. 45-degree off axis needs more pressure to work. More vertical holding orientation means much easier to press down, and more rotation.

If you are used to practically no pressure of a fountain pen, that will not be enough pressure. If you use a ballpoint as a standard, then there should be enough to get rotation, particularly with the Advance engine. I guess it depends on what you mean by "standard pressure".
